OVERVIEW

Saving International (Holdings) Limited is a leading FMCG marketing and distribution company in Hong Kong. We transformed our business from retailing (operating a local drug store) in 1939 to an integrated marketing, sales and distribution company in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.

Over 80 years in the fast moving consumer goods industry. Over the years, our most precious achievement is building the brands with our customers from zero to market leadership.

In the 1960’s, we introduced some Japanese brands and successfully achieved leadership position in Hong Kong, such as Sunstar (toothpaste), Utena (skin care), Warabi Eizai (facial cotton puff), Mitzuwa (dish detergent). In 1970’s and 1980’s, we successfully built the brands Fa (body care), Dixan (laundry detergent), Cream 21 (skin care) and Thermed (toothpaste) by Henkel of Germany to market leadership positions. In 1980’s and 1990’s, we introduced Ice-Non (cooling therapeutic product), Parazol and Mrs. Lloyd (clothes caring), Dry & Dry (dehumidifier), from Hakugen of Japan and all these products remain an industry leader till today.

From the 2000’s, we had introduced numerous Japanese brands to the market and the large majority of these brands are the leaders in our sales territory.

We are proud that we are now the largest distributor of Japanese on-shelf skin care and cosmetic products in Hong Kong.

In 2019, the company with its subsidiary, Fairvilla Ltd., is employing over 150 employees and working with various principals / manufacturers from hair care, skincare & cosmetic, baby care, toiletry and household categories.
